Job Summary
Production Supervisor, Dryers (3rd shift) responsible for the overall results of multi-shift manufacturing lines at Abbott’s Sturgis, MI site. Lead and coach teams to achieve high-quality products, manage line budgets, improve OEE, and drive Cost Improvement Program (CIP) initiatives. Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, FDA and OSHA requirements, and regulatory standards for products shipped to customers. Train and develop employees, oversee staffing, and support continuous improvement projects while maintaining cost efficiency and adherence to budget. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of leadership experience; 3rd shift manufacturing environment; opportunity to engage in learning and career development programs within Abbott Nutrition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, food technology or engineering and 2+ years' work experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Project planning & execution experiences
- Process control knowledge
- Proven plant financial understanding
- Experience with working on Continuous Improvement Projects
- Knowledge of FDA – 21 CFR and other regulatory requirements for Infant Formula
