Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor of the Sparta team responsible for directing and managing multiple manufacturing departments (Rotational Molding and Steering processes) through subordinate Team Leaders to achieve timely production of quality products at the most economical cost. The role requires working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, scheduling and planning production, communicating the production plan to manufacturing groups, identifying problems, assessing needs, problem solving, and implementing timely solutions. Specific duties include promoting a safe/clean work environment, overseeing all aspects of production in assigned areas, achieving manufacturing goals, troubleshooting, establishing training and coaching for subordinates, maintaining department data bases, adjusting schedules, monitoring supplies/tools and scheduling maintenance, ensuring products meet quality specifications, maintaining plant security, inventory control, conducting root-ccause accident investigations, administering disciplinary actions, enforcing policies, reporting HR issues, and collaborating with HR on staffing. Proficiency with Word, Excel, MAPICS, and UKG is required, along with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
