Job Summary
Production Supervisor (day shift) at SunOpta oversees daily shift resources, safety, quality, and productivity; ensures GMP/HACCP/SOP adherence; drives continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Maintenance, QA, Warehousing, and Finance; accountability for shift production data reporting, meeting targets, and coaching team members. Requires Associate degree, 5–7 years in food-manufacturing supervision, Lean manufacturing familiarity, and ability to schedule and conduct daily production meetings; shift is 5:30am–6:00pm on a 2-2-3 pattern at Allentown, PA facility; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field
- 5 – 7 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility
- LEAN Manufacturing (preferred)
- Bi-Lingual Spanish (preferred)
- Knowledge and Skills: MS Word, MS PowerPoint; Oracle beneficial
