Production Supervisor (Day shift)

Job Summary
Manage production performance ensuring all site Safety, Quality, Productivity, Lean, and Cost objectives are understood and communicated to the team. Lead and motivate production operators by organizing workflow, delivering shift briefs, and managing overtime to execute agreed schedules. React to yield and quality issues proactively while auditing material kits, issuing supplies, and maintaining clean work areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S standards and identify operators for increased throughput and efficiency. Monitor production support systems, maintain timekeeping records for payroll, and manage attendance and employee productivity through coaching. Participate in daily handover meetings to communicate production status and priorities across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Leaving Certificate required or equivalent
- Experience working in a supervisory/managerial role
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
- Strong planning & organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in the English language
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- A 'can do' work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with intermediate / Advanced MS Office skills
Desired Qualifications
- Operator II level
- Minimum 6 months Jabil experience for internal applicants
- Experience in electronic manufacturing environment
- Experience in leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities in a manufacturing environment
