Job Summary
The Production Supervisor role involves overseeing the manufacturing process on a night shift schedule (7pm-7am, Sunday-Tuesday + every other Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday + every other Wednesday). Key responsibilities include supervising production staff, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety standards, implementing best practices, and managing inventory control.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with chemicals and industrial manufacturing practices is preferred
- Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desirable
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
