Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Key responsibilities include supervising production shifts, optimizing labor and machinery schedules, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while enforcing safety regulations. The role demands strong leadership, management skills, and experience in a production setting, with a focus on quality standards and teamwork. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, and significant experience in manufacturing supervision and lean methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years supervisory experience in a production environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, six-sigma or other continuous improvement tools.
- Lean or Six-sigma certifications
- Certified as Six Sigma Green Belt
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Knowledge of Food Quality Systems (SQF)
- Comprehension of statistical tools
- MS Office literacy
