Job Summary
Production Supervisor leads a team of production associates on 1st shift in Dallas, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires coaching and developing the workforce, maintaining lean manufacturing practices and 5S, monitoring production schedules, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include on-floor leadership, problem-solving, maintaining records, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring adherence to standardized work and quality control measures to meet delivery targets; requires a high school diploma with a preference for a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, OSHA knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and bilingual ability a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
- Technical acumen including MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Computer literacy with proficiency in production scheduling software
- Bilingual ability a plus (Spanish)
- Experience in glass manufacturing is a plus
