Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of unionized workers to optimize safety, product quality, and productivity in Corrugated Operations. Ensure work adheres to OHS standards, enforce quality protocols including food safety (GMP), and coordinate preventative maintenance for equipment. Develop plans to achieve annual KPI objectives for safety, efficiency, and cost while coaching employees on performance and continuous improvement. Plan labour, equipment, and material scheduling, facilitate crew meetings to resolve production issues, and apply the collective agreement and company policies. Manage daily feedback and performance reviews for direct reports, ensuring timely incident reporting and proactive hazard control.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Supervisory or operations leadership experience within the Corrugated packaging sector
- experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proficient with MS Office applications and systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize essential tasks to achieve results
- Able to work rotating shifts as per operational requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory or operations leadership experience within the Corrugated packaging sector is highly desired
