Job Summary
Oversee daily production and assembly work for workstation cranes, enclosed track systems, and custom ergonomic material-handling solutions. Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to ensure timely order fulfillment while monitoring product quality against engineering standards. Conduct daily start-up meetings, reinforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines. Train, coach, and develop team members to improve technical capability and operational performance. Maintain accurate documentation including production records, safety logs, and corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments to support production planning and resolve issues. Assist with onboarding new employees, updating training materials, and evaluating performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production supervision
- Demonstrated experience leading hourly production teams

- Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, material‐handling systems, or automation environments
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly documentation
- Strong understanding of safety practices, particularly relating to crane systems, ergonomic lift devices, and fall‐protection equipment
- Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage daily operations with minimal supervision
- Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
- Experienced in performance management and possesses the skills to coach, guide, and influence
