Job Summary
Production Supervisor at Clorox’s Glad manufacturing facility in Orangeville, ON, overseeing 4 Team Leaders and 40 employees across continental shifts. Responsible for safety, quality, employee development, and daily operations in alignment with site goals; reports to the Operations & CI Manager. Day shift (8 a.m.–4 p.m.), Monday–Friday with on-call weekends and nights. Duties include modeling safety and environmental standards, owning the site quality strategy, driving loss elimination and waste reduction via root-cause analysis and Kaizen/5Y/5S, developing empowered line teams, coordinating training staffing and communication, ensuring tasks are completed to standard, and collaborating across departments to promote plant success. Requires 7+ years supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent), and strong leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced production environment leading people
- Experience in packaging processes or engineering (AM Step 3 qualification an asset)
- Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop employees
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement experience
