Production Supervisor - C Shift

Job Summary
Oversee production of quality products for customer vehicles while adhering to quality control plans, company policies, and IATF16949 requirements. Schedule staffing to meet build schedules, maintain communication with Plant Management, and enforce attendance and disciplinary programs. Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations, supervising employees, and addressing hazards. Troubleshoot equipment failures, manage nonconforming products, and ensure FIFO order compliance. Direct work activities to comply with environmental programs and hazardous waste standards. Be visible on the floor 85% of the time, wearing required PPE, while providing support, training, and direction to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
- One to three years of experience as a production lead or supervisor in a manufacturing/production environment
- Must be team oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to provide support on production floor
- Must be visible
- Must comply with all Company policies, procedures and work instructions
- Must be present in all areas of the production floor
- Presence on production floor should be 85% or more of daily work time
- Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the production floor
Desired Qualifications
- Further education
- Automotive manufacturing background
- Familiarity with IATF16949 ISO 14001 Requirements
- Familiarity with OSHA Requirements
