Job Summary
Supervise the shift production crew to ensure kilns, mills, and auxiliary equipment are operated safely and efficiently for quality cement output. Follow company Standard Operating Practices and maximize equipment operating time and throughput while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and MSHA standards. Ensure all employees and contractors work safely to avoid serious equipment damage. Ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 plant operations is required. Buzzi Unicem USA manufactures cement products for infrastructure projects across the Midwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast regions, prioritizing sustainable development and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 5 years experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 plant operations
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year associate degree
- Experience supervising in a union environment
- Control room or lab experience
- Experience working in the cement, lime or aggregate industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
