Production Supervisor

Perform all aspects of the Production Manager's duties in his absence and assume authority for the direct supervision of specific department(s). Assist in reviews and analysis of safety, production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of non-conformity. Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate production/operating problems and improve product quality. Monitor and coordinate disposition of non-conforming material, hazardous waste functions, and Regulatory postings. Participate in customer plant visits, monthly safety inspections, and safety meetings. Assist each production department when the Departmental Supervisor goes on vacation or is absent. Responsible for maintenance of and overseeing training records.
