Production Supervisor - Bread Plant

Job Summary
Manage daily bread production operations by ensuring schedule adherence, maintaining GMP and hygiene standards, and enforcing safety protocols. Lead and supervise production associates, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing training. Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance schedules, and address issues to minimize downtime. Track raw materials and finished goods inventory while collaborating with cross-functional partners to resolve production problems. Implement process improvements and generate reports on production metrics. Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
- One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
- Ability to manage and develop employees
- Strong skills
- Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications
