Job Summary
Supervise daily production room operations, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to schedules, and quality standards for processed merchandise. Coach and develop team members, conduct safety inspections, and assist the Production Manager in resolving operational issues and optimizing productivity. Build production schedules, manage workflow, and contribute to performance evaluations. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with bright lighting and frequent interactions with customers and donors. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Required to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of flexibility
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office, Teams, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience
