Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Coordinate daily production activities, supervise hourly employees, and manage department workflow and manpower utilization. Prepare work orders, recommend equipment modifications, and facilitate continuous improvement through communication with plant personnel. Provide daily and weekly reports on production flow, safety, maintenance, and quality while conducting accident investigations and training staff in housekeeping and job safety. Develop employee relations, handle complaints promptly, and appraise performance. Maintain environmental awareness, promote safety practices, and understand payroll, inventory, shipping, and scheduling processes. Work a flexible schedule including swing and graveyard shifts in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function
- proven skills in a production environment
- understanding of manufacturing practices
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well with people
- ability to facilitate change and growth in a team environment
- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule (to include swing and graveyard work) in a production-manufacturing environment
- PC skills
