Job Summary
Lead daily production operations for the B Shift to achieve high throughput, consistent performance, and on-time delivery across all manufacturing processes. Convert production plans into clear priorities, allocate labor and equipment effectively, and track performance to implement timely corrective actions for delays or inefficiencies. Champion safety culture by enforcing practices, reporting incidents, and partnering with EHS to resolve hazards. Drive continuous improvement through Standard Work, 5S, Kanban, and visual management while reducing lead times and eliminating waste. Partner with the quality team on root cause analysis for failures and conduct audits. Hire, train, coach, and develop the production team, setting performance expectations and fostering an engaged, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in operations, business, industrial engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel up to 5% for site or customer visits
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Periodic lifting of materials and files up to 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience operating within AS9100 (preferred) or ISO systems
