Job Summary
Oversee production operations for assigned areas by managing teams, coordinating schedules, and coaching employees to ensure efficient, GMP-compliant output. Review schedules and time systems, interpret daily plans, and facilitate cell meetings to set expectations. Monitor key activities driving quality, safety, and scrap KPIs, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective measures to meet production goals. Develop associates, lead succession planning, and serve as the link between staff and management to drive operational improvements and standardized work.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in applicable field and /or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience using MRP/ERP
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience in Lean manufacturing principles, tools, and applications
- Applicable knowledge of performance management methods
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop talent
- Demonstrated ability to employ process problem solving tools to determine root cause and implement countermeasures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Demonstrated ability to execute against production playbooks
- Effective oral and written communication
