Job Summary
Production Supervisor II (Team Leader) to direct a salaried non-exempt team of 3-4 operating specialists on a rotating 12-hour T-day schedule to manufacture and ship butanediol. Responsibilities include developing the workforce through training, needs assessment, team building, performance coaching and job assignments; operating the plant DCS; ensuring adherence to operating guidelines and daily ops orders; coordinating with distribution, maintenance and engineering; leading safety initiatives and compliant environmental operations; leading emergency response initial phase; documenting and communicating shift handovers; troubleshooting plant mechanical issues; and driving continuous improvement and safety while meeting organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate minimum
- Minimum 5 years experience in a petro chemical environment, with the capability to successfully lead others
- Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior
