Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Lead, coach, and develop production employees while managing daily and weekly schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity. Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality departments to ensure uninterrupted operations. Monitor production performance, analyze data for productivity and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards while maintaining accurate production records and ERP/MRP system transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control, inventory management, and quality systems
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to interpret production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Experience with production scheduling software is an advantage
