Job Summary
Lead manufacturing operations on the first shift in the Sycamore, IL area, directing a team to meet production objectives while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include enforcing safety guidelines, setting production objectives, organizing workflows, coaching and disciplining staff, conducting performance reviews, resolving production/HR issues, maintaining clean/organized areas, establishing cross-training, and ensuring adherence to procedures. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) with lean manufacturing experience and strong planning, leadership, and analytical skills; proficient with MS Office and able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking).
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school; or 3-5 years related experience/training
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Lean manufacturing background
- Excellent planning, organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking)
