Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Coordinate material build schedules and maintain orderly product flow while enforcing safety standards and quality protocols. Analyze production processes to identify improvements, conduct root cause analysis on defects, and resolve interpersonal conflicts among team members. Record daily process changes, manage attendance and overtime, and oversee training and development for all assigned Team Members. Communicate daily with the Customer Liaison to address feedback and ensure immediate corrective actions on concerns. Optimize plant communications through shift meetings and logs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs
- Ability to create visual aids for communication purposes
