Job Summary
Lead overnight operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in the Slice Department. Supervise, coach, and develop production employees and Team Leads while serving as the primary on-shift decision-maker with high autonomy. Drive performance in safety, quality, throughput, labor, and waste by monitoring operations and adjusting priorities as needed. Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMPs, and food safety programs through active presence and enforcement. Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to resolve issues and manage end-of-week sanitation and shift handoffs. Partner on staffing, line coverage, and daily labor allocation while supporting continuous improvement and standard work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of GMPs
- Working knowledge of food safety programs (HACCP or Preventive Controls)
- Working knowledge of sanitation practices
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to organize work effectively
