Job Summary
Production Supervisor leads and motivates employees to achieve department goals of quality, production, safety and continuous improvement on 3rd shift. Responsibilities include monitoring priority dispatch and customer service requirements, identifying and correcting bottlenecks, defects, safety hazards, and maintenance issues; assisting Engineering with CapX projects to improve quality, productivity and capacity; counseling, coaching and instructing departmental personnel in machine operation and concerns; communicating ideas concisely in both oral and written form; collaborating with peers and management to meet divisional objectives and budget targets; maintaining documentation to support department activities and ensuring PHI/IIHI compliance; operating various types of production equipment. Preferred Bachelor’s degree and Injection Molding experience are noted; salary range is $64,500 to $80,500 with bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience
- at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Injection Molding experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
