Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments, managing performance to ensure safe, efficient, and productive results. Assess employee needs, provide coaching and training, and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Enforce safe work practices, lead daily safety discussions, and direct efforts to consistently achieve product quality standards. Facilitate monthly department meetings focused on safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) with occasional weekend work.
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
- Manufacturing production experience, preferably in a packaging or converting environment, is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
