Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Job Summary
Oversee daily manufacturing operations by understanding production schedules, starting batch orders, and performing daily GEMBA walks. Troubleshoot problems, submit maintenance requests, and enter downtime data into the system while ensuring proper training for all employees. Enforce safety protocols, adhere to GMPs, allergen controls, and HACCP requirements, and immediately report food safety or quality issues to management. Maintain general housekeeping, remove trash, and ensure all raw material returns are completed by shift end. Make decisions to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and partner with colleagues to share knowledge across functional areas. Work the 3rd shift with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and earlier hours as needed.

- Must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation
- Must be willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Must be High School graduate or GED
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must understand the production process
- Must be able to make decision to ensuring Safety, Quality and Efficiency
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Must be able to handle heavier items with proper lifting equipment or team-assisted techniques to ensure safety
- Must be able to handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Must be 18 years of age or older
