Job Summary
Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at Ditsch USA Northland, leading end-to-end production operations for pretzel manufacturing. Responsible for eliminating waste, ensuring GMP/HACCP and OSHA compliance, maintaining safety and quality, managing a ~40-person team, meeting production schedules and cost targets, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing countermeasures, developing SOPs/work instructions, and driving continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain. Must oversee staffing, training, budgeting for labor and materials, and lead performance coaching to achieve strategic objectives, with a 40-hour work week and 24/7 escalation availability. Education/experience: Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent; 5+ years supervisor experience in manufacturing; Lean/Six Sigma certifications preferred. Location: Cincinnati, OH (onsite). Compensation range: $70,000 - $85,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent education and/or related experience
- Supervisor Experience in a Manufacturing environment, 5+ years preferred
- Lean, Six Sigma Certifications, a plus
