Production Supervisor (3rd shift)

Job Summary
Production Supervisor on 3rd shift leads team meetings and communicates safety, production, quality and information from other locations/departments; coaches crew in safety, performance, attendance, training, housekeeping/5S, and quality; ensures clear communication of production, safety, and quality information; participates in accident/injury investigations and resolves deficiencies (engineering controls and employee education); conducts audits in safety, training, and quality and develops countermeasures; helps ensure compliance with TS16949 and other customer certifications; coordinates work assignments, administers disciplinary actions, assists with materials planning and logistics, reviews production data, processes payroll and attendance data, and supports preventive maintenance of equipment. Preferred: Bachelor’s in IE/Manufacturing Engineering; 3+ years manufacturing experience; knowledge of glass manufacturing; willing to work all shifts; strong MS Office skills; strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- 3+ years manufacturing/production experience
- Must be willing and able to work all available shifts
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Valid driver’s license required for business travel
- Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required, including weekends and holidays
