Job Summary
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations while investigating accidents and implementing corrective plans to eliminate recurrence. Direct and coordinate the activities of 30 to 60 production associates engaged in manufacturing and processing fabricated components, ensuring high-quality output meets customer delivery requirements. Read and analyze production schedules, work orders, and reports to determine requirements, plan assignments and sequences to minimize overtime, and monitor workflow to meet daily goals. Develop and implement 6S activities to improve production methods and equipment performance. This 3rd shift role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) or Associate degree with two years of experience, Lean/Six Sigma certification, and knowledge of fabrication machines. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience by combination of education and work experience in a specific discipline
- Minimum two years of similar job related experience, or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

- Working knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Bronze Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well trained in 6S principles and the discipline to sustain
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for increasing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of fabrication machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
