Job Summary
Execute and oversee daily production and packaging plans, establishing priorities to ensure quality output and timely delivery. Coordinate and supervise all manufacturing activities during the assigned shift, including troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions. Monitor production reports to identify improvement opportunities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards. Provide clear direction and performance feedback to subordinate technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability on the production floor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a packaging management capacity
- High School diploma/GED with 5 years of demonstrated leadership responsibilities in a manufacturing setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
- Experience implementing and enforcing quality control protocols
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of reallocating resources as needed
- Proven ability to lead independently with minimal supervision
- Track record of taking ownership and successfully managing projects or tasks
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Skilled at evaluating situations and making informed, calculated decisions
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical and operational issues
- Experience with troubleshooting tools and methods across systems
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on root cause identification
- Must be available for 2nd Shift Mon – Saturday @ 11pm to 7:30am
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the juice processing industry is a plus
