Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Job Summary
Direct supervision of hourly employees in food manufacturing; ensure safe operations and adherence to daily production schedules. Train plant staff on HACCP/SSOP and GMP, manage timekeeping and attendance, and maintain records. Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and sanitation; conduct shift meetings and communicate performance against goals. Hold teams accountable for quality, reduce customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement. Must be 18+ with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years supervisory experience in food processing preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office and time-keeping systems; union experience preferred. This role emphasizes safety, training, staffing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production targets across a 3rd shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and time keeping systems preferred
- Prefer three or more years previous supervisory experience in food processing manufacturing
- Union experience preferred
- HACCP/SSOP, GMP training experience
