Production Supervisor (3rd Shift 11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)

Job Summary
Monitor all aspects of production using interval measurement, cum, and standard cycle speeds to achieve daily quality standards. Ensure personnel follow safety procedures by performing checks twice daily, correcting issues, and recording injuries. Maintain proper staffing by communicating needs with supervisors and managing overtime ratios. Train and evaluate new employees, handle performance reviews, and enforce company policies. Ensure department maintenance, cleanliness, and machine setups for the next shift. Coordinate with mechanics for mechanical delays and verify job completion before machine breakdowns. Oversee quality control procedures, write alerts for mistakes, and investigate errors to implement corrective actions. Create reports on material difficulties and communicate with the data center to meet bindery needs.
Required Qualifications
- Two-years of college
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a supervisor in a lettershop environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels in a culturally diverse work environment
- Ability to motivate personnel to perform at a quality level
- Ability to discipline personnel in a consistent and fair approach
- Knowledge of computers
- Good analytical ability
