Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for safe and efficient operations during the assigned shift. This role includes supervising employees, ensuring adherence to company safety procedures, providing safety training, and investigating safety incidents. Responsibilities also encompass planning and scheduling to ensure timely customer order completion, optimizing manpower efficiency, driving continuous improvement through Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 procedures. The position requires experience in team development and administering performance reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of prior manufacturing supervisory experience
- Experience in using and following a Quality Management System in Manufacturing (QMS)
- Computer literate in MS Office and Microsoft D365 ERP system.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools to resolve processing problems and optimize efficiencies.
- Expertise in deployment and driving of manufacturing metrics (KPI)
- Experience in compounding of polymers or related field
- High degree of organizational skills to effectively handle all assigned responsibilities.
- Team builder
- Experience in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices across the production area.
