Job Summary
Production Supervisor manages daily manufacturing operations on 2nd shift to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising production processes, ensuring health and safety of employees, enforcing batch record specifications, maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand, training and mentoring staff, implementing process improvements for efficiency and safety, coordinating with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, scheduling staff placements based on abilities, reconciling work orders for financial review, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and cGMP. Requires 1-3 years of manufacturing leadership experience (FDA experience preferred) and strong skills in quality control, process improvement, team leadership, safety, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Preferred)
- 1-3 years Manufacturing environment (Required)
- 1-3 years Prior leadership in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
- 1-3 years FDA experience (Preferred)
