Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Directly supervise Converting production operations on the 2nd shift; plan daily work schedules, assign priorities, and regulate production to meet daily requirements. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback; interview, hire, train, and discipline team members. Drive plant safety programs, conduct safety meetings, and ensure safe working conditions. Lead continuous improvement projects to improve product quality and reduce scrap, enhance productivity, and optimize workflows. Serve as a bridge between employees and management, coordinate with Production Control to align schedules with customer expectations, maintain staff schedules and time off approvals, and collaborate across departments to meet operational goals. Demonstrates lean manufacturing principles, strong problem-solving, effective written and oral communication, and the ability to motivate and develop others.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years of management experience
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Lean manufacturing understanding
