Job Summary
Production Supervisor on 2nd shift in Toledo, OH, leading and coordinating production staff in a high-volume manufacturing environment; responsibilities include enforcing safety regulations, planning work schedules, directing operators and inspectors, training, interpreting blueprints and job orders, monitoring production metrics, and stopping production if unsafe; requires experience in supervisory role, proficiency in MS Office/Outlook, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work overtime; must be 18+, eligible to work in the US, high school diploma, experience with high-volume resistance welding and robotic welding.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role required
- Experience with high volume resistance welding in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with robotic welding in a manufacturing environment
- Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check, drug screen)
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Report for work on time to support production startup
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination
- Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching and periodically lifting
- Able to work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity
