Job Summary

Production Supervisor (2nd shift) at Saputo’s Franklin, WI facility overseeing the supervision of production staff to maximize productivity, ensure safety and quality, and align with plant schedules. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, directing and reviewing work, maintaining adherence to procedures, coordinating production schedules, utilizing ERP/SAP for data entry and reporting (production results, OEE, downtime), conducting employee training, driving continuous improvement with CI methods to identify root causes and preventive actions, and collaborating across departments to meet performance objectives. Requires experience supervising in a manufacturing environment, GMP familiarity, SAP ERP proficiency, strong communication and leadership abilities, and flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends. The role also involves enforcing policies, documenting records, and supporting safety programs in a smoke-free campus culture.

Required Qualifications

  • One to three years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred
  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Operations Management, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures
  • Proficient with ERP solutions, SAP preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Have good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and pay attention to the details
  • Strong team player and leader with ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Ability to select, lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees
  • Ability to understand cost containment and budgetary principles
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of plant operations
  • Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift
  • Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift

Desired Qualifications
