Job Summary
Production Supervisor to lead the front-line production team on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include overseeing the production process from yield tracking to real-time adjustments, ensuring safety and USDA health standards, training and coaching hourly employees, maintaining quality by enforcing food safety and quality plans, driving operational efficiency to minimize downtime and costs, conducting daily safety inspections and audits (HACCP/USDA adherence), leading monthly line meetings, and coordinating maintenance and setup of equipment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent), strong leadership and communication skills, willingness to work long hours/weekends, and the ability to work in varying temperatures. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching or mentoring to less experienced staff or through managing a process or project.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) while leading problem-solving efforts for complex process issues with solid analytical and math abilities.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments, capable of working in varying conditions (heat and cold), and willing to work long hours and weekends when needed.
