Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift at Morton Salt’s Rittman, OH site. Lead the 2nd shift production team with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include driving the Safety Journey and achieving an injury-free workplace, ensuring EHS, MOC, GMP, and QC compliance, conducting weekly safety and quality meetings, maintaining good housekeeping, managing department/shift budgets and maintenance, troubleshooting machinery with hourly operators, applying root-cause analysis for repairs, and tracking machine downtime. Oversees maintenance, creates work orders, validates work, escalates issues as needed, and supports continuous improvement to meet/exceed production goals. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing or food-related industries; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in engineering, business, or related field, plus 5 years of supervisor and manufacturing experience, Six Sigma and Lean certifications, and SAP experience. Working conditions include a 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule, potential overtime, lifting up to 50 pounds, and plant-floor and office environments.
