Job Summary
Oversee and monitor production operations for quality, safety, productivity, sanitation, and waste control while resolving technical problems, scheduling conflicts, and equipment issues. Drive safety, quality, and productivity standards by participating in audits, ensuring GFSI training, and coaching hourly associates on SOPs and GMPs. Set daily objectives, lead huddle meetings, and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines. Submit performance reports, identify efficiency issues, and leverage continuous improvement tools to optimize processes and eliminate loss.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least one (1) year of experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience or several years as a lead employee providing direction to others
- Flexibility to work other shifts to include extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to read and write in English and to write reports legibly and accurately
- Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Superb leadership and problem-solving
- Good communication skills

- Understanding of compliance with government regulations relating to OHSA and FDA
Desired Qualifications
- a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field
- Lean training/certification at any level
- Bilingual in Spanish
