Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities and smash production goals while creating an environment of continuous improvement. Empower team members to contribute to lean operations by eliminating waste and developing skills in safety, quality, equipment operation, and 5S. Establish annual objectives to support operating metrics and serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and contract discipline issues with Union Stewards. Interface with technical staff to ensure proper support and reduce inventories and work in progress. This onsite role in Ripon, WI, is for a 2nd shift position with relocation assistance approved case-by-case.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a medium/high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be self-driven and ambitious with proven leadership capabilities, including providing coaching, mentoring and supervision within a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations is preferred
- Experience with mechanical and hydraulic press operations, as well as a basic understanding of die set-up and maintenance would be beneficial
- Previous Assembly line supervision experience
- Basic understanding of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban and Lean manufacturing
