Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Ability to operate telephones, data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems
• •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• •Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
• •Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• •Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• •Ability to collect data, establish facts, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions
• •Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• •Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• •Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision
• •Must be able to talk and hear

• •Must be able to sit, handle small components, and reach with hands and arms

• •Must be able to lead a team of individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements
• •Must be able to troubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution
• •Must be able to guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability
• •Must be able to solicit and evaluate ideas for plant improvements and collaborate with qualified engineers to develop project proposals
• •Must be able to provide technical and operational advice to project teams
• •Must be able to act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function
• •Must be able to engage in training and coaching of junior operators
• •Must be able to prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements
• •Must be able to initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects
• •Must be able to assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses
• •Must be able to demonstrate operations and technical skills and understanding of Flex functional standards
• •Must demonstrate a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of Flex policies and procedures
• •Must have awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions
• •Must be able to facilitate team in making group decisions
• •Must be able to approve and/or make decisions for sections/sub-functions
• •Must be able to identify own development needs and work toward them
• •Must support Flex values
• •Must be available for 2nd shift
