Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Lead the 2nd shift (4pm to 2am M-F) as the primary authority on the floor, managing union employees, coordinating with dayshift, and serving as the technical expert on machining. Operate multi-axis lathes and horizontal mills, address error codes, adjust off-sets, and resolve mechanical issues to keep production moving safely. Manage setup and operation while leading the team to hit production goals and ensure parts meet high-quality standards and tight tolerances. Additionally, oversee 3-5 employees in non-destructive testing, inspection, and storeroom departments, focusing on safety and quality across all areas. Provide technical expertise in programming and operations to improve overall shift capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years equivalent work experience in mechanical or related Engineering field from an accredited institution
- 1-5 Years (5+ preferred) in a CNC Manufacturing/Engineering Environment
- US Citizenship
- No dual citizenship
- Ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery
- Ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group
Desired Qualifications
