Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Production Supervisor oversees frontline manufacturing on the 2nd shift, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental responsibility while meeting production demands. Responsibilities include developing and managing shift schedules, staffing and workforce utilization, hiring and evaluating staff, leading 5S/continuous improvement initiatives, providing coaching and training, conducting performance reviews, and communicating with plant leadership. The role involves line setup/operation support, troubleshooting, data collection and reporting, adherence to manufacturing policies, and guiding team members toward career development and adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, Management, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in sheet extrusion strongly preferred for extrusion facilities, fenestration experience strongly preferred for windows facilities
- Strong communication skills; ability to educate and train operators and technicians; teamwork with plant leadership
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, mentor and train employees on a regular basis
- Proficient in STOP and 5S principles; mathematical and mechanical aptitude; proficiency with measuring devices
- Excellent attendance; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
