Job Summary
Production Supervisor leads safety training and compliance, oversees plant scheduling and shift operations on the production floor, champions Lean manufacturing, analyzes daily production data, and drives continuous improvement to improve yields, safety, quality, and cost savings in a meat/food processing plant. This role coordinates with Superintendents and the Operations Manager on new product opportunities, coaches the workforce to develop future leaders, and maintains strong communication across teams. Strong emphasis on planning, resource alignment, and hands-on leadership of a 2nd-shift production team in a Council Bluffs facility with SAP knowledge a plus; bilingual skills (Spanish/English or Burmese/English) are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years - food manufacturing experience
- Preferred college or technical degree with emphasis on critical thinking
