Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Organize, direct, and monitor all aspects of production in the manufacturing and loading dock departments, including daily planning, scheduling, and quality oversight. Supervise hourly personnel, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety policies, preventive maintenance programs, and company guidelines. Coordinate product loading with customer service to meet specifications while minimizing overtime. Operate and troubleshoot machinery and forklifts, enforce housekeeping standards, and delegate duties effectively. Requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience, mechanical aptitude, and PC skills. Full-time 2nd shift role (1:30pm-10:30pm) with overtime as needed; training on 1st shift required prior to transition.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to three years' Supervisory experience
- Mechanical experience or aptitude to aid in diagnosing and trouble-shooting machines/forklifts
- Some PC background
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Fork lift training
- Ability to delegate duties and responsibilities effectively
- Ability to monitor and direct several separate processes
- Ability to function under pressure
