Job Summary
Production Supervisor on 2nd shift leads daily manufacturing operations at Banner Engineering’s Brooklyn Park, MN facility (3 pm–1:30 am, Mon–Thu). Responsible for supervising production employees, staffing/interviewing with HR, coaching to meet productivity goals, communicating plant information, summarizing shift outcomes, troubleshooting across all production lines, ensuring training, and enforcing safety, quality, and production standards. Opens/closes the facility as needed. Requires Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 5+ years (or 7+ years in lieu of degree), 3+ years of managing hourly staff, and experience in PCBA/sub-assembly/finished goods electronics manufacturing; strong Excel Pivot Tables; Oracle preferred. Supervises 30–50 direct reports depending on needs; works in a climate-controlled production environment with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or operations-related field OR Associate’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field with 5 or more years of experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 7 or more years of experience in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience in successful management of hourly employees
- Experience in PCBA, sub assembly, and finished good electronics manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically using Pivot Tables
- Oracle experience is strongly preferred
- Exempt (Professional Exemption) under FLSA; supervisory responsibilities over 30-50 direct reports
