Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee and monitor production operations for quality, safety, productivity, sanitation, and waste control while resolving technical problems, scheduling conflicts, and equipment issues. Drive safety standards and lead daily huddle meetings to communicate objectives, ensuring SOPs and GMPs are followed. Participate in quality audits, verify GFSI training, and check output against specifications to recommend continuous improvement ideas. Submit performance reports on efficiency and leverage tools to optimize processes and eliminate loss. This role requires a minimum of one year in food manufacturing, two years of supervisory experience, and bilingual Spanish skills. The position starts at 2:30 pm, with flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least one (1) year of experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience or several years as a lead employee providing direction to others
- Flexibility to work other shifts to include extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to read and write in English and to write reports legibly and accurately
- Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Superb leadership and problem-solving

- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch and climb steps
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or use objects, tools or controls
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field
- Lean training/certification at any level
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Understanding of compliance with government regulations relating to OHSA and FDA
