Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Assembly

Job Summary
Plan and lead production activities and personnel across shifts for the assembly of valves, hydrants, and pipe repair products. Partner with Production Planning and Materials to establish priorities, analyze schedules for work requirements, and adjust plans to meet deadlines. Direct operations using knowledge of machine capabilities and skilled labor while supervising automated equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Assist Quality Assurance in testing and process improvements, and implement lean techniques including 5S, waste elimination, and total productive maintenance. Meet goals for safety, labor efficiency, and scrap reduction while conducting performance appraisals and recommending personnel actions.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years' experience in a union manufacturing facility
- Strong Microsoft Office and HRIS skills
- A consistent track record for executing performance objectives and delivering results with minimal supervision
- Relationship Building Skills
- Strong Communicator
- Demonstrated leadership attributes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
