Job Summary
Direct and monitor production personnel while managing resources for packaging solution manufacturing. Lead by championing safety, quality, and financial results through continuous process improvement and employee engagement. Manage the performance cycle, including interviewing candidates, training, coaching, and recommending promotions. Serve as a technical expert in production, planning, scheduling, preventative maintenance, and budgetary matters. Demonstrate correct processes, provide instruction, and maintain documentation. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- High level knowledge of machinery and production systems
- Reasonable mandatory overtime
Desired Qualifications
- AS degree
- Blow or Injection Mold experience
- Understanding of a union environment
- A drive to strive for continuous improvement
- Computer skills
